Introducing Phase 2 of Testnet 2.0: More Tasks, More Rewards, More Innovation!
Swisstronik’s Testnet 2.0 has been a resounding success, with over 70,000 active users and an impressive 728,000+ tasks completed to date.
To build on this momentum, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Phase 2 — with more tasks, increased rewards, special perks for ambassadors, and much more!
What is Swisstronik Testnet 2.0?
Swisstronik Testnet 2.0 is a simulated environment that mirrors the core functionalities planned for the Swisstronik Mainnet.
It allows any crypto enthusiast to interact with our system, provide feedback that would help us improve it — and earn rewards in return! No development skills required.
The first phase of the program went live in July 2024 and was a big success, so now we’ve decided to launch its second phase with new tasks and rewards for participants!
The Program Activities Overview
The phase 2 of the Testnet 2.0 program includes 5 types of tasks that will bring you Activity Points that you can later convert to SWTR tokens — plus additional USDT rewards for specific bug discoveries or feedback that the Swisstronik team considers outstanding:
- Technical tasks: These tasks were already given in the First Phase. They include deploying contracts, minting various tokens, and implementing proxy contracts, providing hands-on experience with blockchain technology.
- Chain-related tasks: Here are several new tasks as completing KYC and staking tokens, as well as old ones like SWTR Faucet Weekly Claim and sending SWTR tokens. Also, the daily SWTR claim task is now dropped, but you’ll get more AP for completing the weekly claim.
- Additional tasks: There’re various additional tasks to boost engagement and earn more Activity Points. Also we added Ambassador Bonus to reward them for being the voice of Swisstronik.
- Achievements: 8 achievements to engage various skill levels. Each unlocked achievement increases your points multiplier: one achievement gives a 1.1x multiplier, two give 1.2x, and so on. Completing more quests boosts your total rewards by raising your points multiplier with each achievement.
- NFT Boosts: Additional quests are available for our NFTs holders. Simply verify your NFTs’ ownership and get +0.1 for each NFT to your current multiplier.
What are the New Tasks?
At the start of this new phase, we’re adding 4 new tasks — some of which are worth more than any task from the first phase!
At the same time, all phase 1 tasks will remain available in the program — except for one: the “Deploy Proxy” task. So make sure to maximize your points multiplier by completing both the old and the new tasks!
Now let’s look at the 3 most important new tasks:
1️⃣ Try out our core feature: SDI
We’re very excited that now Testnet 2.0 participants can experience our Swisstronik Decentralized Identity (SDI) module early on! In this new task, you’ll be able to complete KYC* via our SDI and mint the SDI NFT as a result.
*Important: we’re working on connecting our SDI to as many KYC issuers as possible to make it truly decentralized. But its Testnet version is connected to just 2 KYC issuers for now: Quadrata and WorldCoin. To successfully pass the verification and earn your points for the task, we recommend checking the limitations these companies may impose (for example, users from certain countries may not be able to complete the KYC process in their system). Please remember that these limitations are beyond our control, and we cannot reward users who are rejected by the KYC provider, as failure to pass verification means the task remains incomplete.
Moreover, this task will bring you a record number of Activity Points!

2️⃣ Explore the Swisstronik Wallet App functionalities:
In the first phase of the program you’ve already had access to the Swisstronik wallet — but now it’s time to dig deeper! In this new task, you’ll be able to test the Staking feature and delegate some test tokens to one of the network validators.
3️⃣ Ambassador bonus:
We value the work of our ambassadors so we’ve added a special task for them! From now on, if you are an active Swisstronik Ambassador and you join the Testnet 2.0 Program, you are entitled to receive Action Points for all contributions you make!

The rewards in the Swisstronik token (SWTR) will be distributed after the TGE (Token Generation Event) currently planned for Q4 2024 — Q1 2025.
The rewards will be distributed from the reward pool that will be disclosed at the end of the Testnet 2.0 program.
